Day in the life of a Commons worker

Sophomore Bauccio Commons worker, Mia Tierney pictured moments before heading off to work. Tierney is taking in the sun while she can as darkness is the only thing welcoming her at the end of her shift.

When she's not working, Tierney spends her time taking in the beauty of campus. Setting time aside to relax from homework and other responsibilities is what encourages Tierney to put in hard work. 

Tierney starts off her process of getting ready for work by putting makeup on. The stress of looking presentable takes away the time needed to complete homework.

Tierney pins her name tag onto her uniform. With everyone on staff wearing the same thing, her name tag is the only thing differentiating herself from her peers and giving her a sense of individuality.

Worried that she's going to be late to work, Tierney is found running on the way to Commons. Tierney struggles with finishing homework on time before her shift starts.

At work, Tierney takes orders at the register by the grill. Having to write down the names of those ordering at this station, Tierney interacts with a lot of the student body.
