A glimpse into the life of Kevin Lund
Named after an incident in 1871 when a group of convicts escaped prison and took refuge by the lake, Convict Lake, California, is a place Kevin Lund enjoys reflecting on the way he choose to spend his time. Lund challenges you to ask yourself, "What are you allowing yourself to be prisoner to? Is it your job, school or social pressures? What can you do to change that?"
Lund stares into the distant rolling hills, focusing on this present moment. Lund takes pride in not conforming to the pressures of society and following the desires of his adventurous spirit.
Lund runs into a lake just in front of some snow covered mountains. Despite the cold, he is constantly praised by friends and family members for pushing himself to discover new experiences.
Lund “heel clicks” while walking down a path lined by telephone poles on either side. Lund enjoys being active and letting his body move in the world around him.
Lund walks through shrubs with longtime friend Jesse Hart-McNeal. Throughout both high school and college, Lund and McNeal have prioritized the gift of friendship.
Lund poses with the sun setting behind him. While he is posing with a smile, he can often be seen smiling, as he enjoys the life he has created for himself.
